Strigara 5 (AIIMF)

Located in Strigara, 30 km away from Rimini, the Movement's Scientific Center is a small paradise immersed in the greenery and tranquility of the Romagna countryside.

Born thanks to the dedication of Tina Broccoli and Simone Broccoli, it represents a place of advanced research of the potential of the Feldenkrais Method® which is applied with scientific rigor.

The professionalism of the Staff - which makes use of world-renowned Trainers, such as Eilat Almagor, Beatriz Walterspiel, Anat Krivine and Ilan Jacobson - makes this Center a point of reference for those who want to train and become teachers of the Feldenkrais Method. The Center welcomes Feldenkrais students from all over the world who wish to learn and deepen this Method.

The training lasts four years. Each year is divided in three segments for a total of 40 days of lessons (800 hours):

• 10 days on Easter (March/April)
• 20 days in Summer (1-23 August)
• 10 days in Autumn (23 October - 2 November)

The lessons are taught in English and consecutively translated into Italian, or vice versa.

During the training students will:

• practice Awareness Through Movement® and Functional Integration® lessons
• practice between students led by trainers and assistants
• receive 3 Functional Integrations® a year from Trainers or Assistant Trainers
• watch videos of Moshe Feldenkrais' lessons and lectures
• study in-depth the Method through demonstrations
• do exchanges experiences and group work between sessions

The residential wing of the Center accommodates more than twenty students.

Each apartment is equipped with a living room kitchen and a toilet. A comfortable habitat will allow you to live this experience in peace, by having the opportunity to practice the Feldenkrais Method® outside the working hours and being able to use the wonderful gym, which remains available to the students.
