The Bar training program in Tel-Aviv, was established in 2004, and since then 8 training programs have opened, the latest one in January 2023.

Each program is structured over a three-year period, which is unique to Israel. The students meet once a week throughout the year except for the month of August and on holidays. There are also 2 segments of 4 consecutive learning days a year.

Ruty Bar (M.A.), serves as the Educational Director of the program and teaches 60% of the program, she is an experienced trainer in the Feldenkrais method and a Movement Therapist.

Ruty has rich experience as an Educational Director, apart from Tel-Aviv she currently directs training programs in Brussels and Seoul, and she used to direct programs in Greece, Italy and Japan as well.

We are very proud of our experienced faculty! The team brings a lot of professionalism that contributes to the well-being of the group and provides a good learning environment. 

Our trainers are: Dr. Chava Shelhav, Basil Glazer, Ilan Jakobson and Raz Ori.

Dr. Efhrat Heyman, who specializes in functional anatomy, is also a vital part of the instructional team.

In addition, the training program has a large and diverse staff of experienced practitioners and an Assistance Trainer which enables personal care and attention throughout the training.
