Feldenkrais Training Program – Istanbul 1 (2026–2029)
A four-year professional training in the Feldenkrais Method®, designed for those who wish to deepen their understanding of movement, learning, and human potential — and share it with others.
This comprehensive program, based on Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais’s renowned Amherst and San Francisco trainings, combines Awareness Through Movement (ATM) and Functional Integration (FI) to develop both professional skills and personal transformation.
What You’ll Learn
- Teach ATM classes and workshops with confidence and clarity.
- Practice FI lessons through sensitive, non-invasive touch.
- Adapt the method creatively for individuals, groups, workplaces, sports, and the arts.
- Integrate Feldenkrais principles into daily life and professional practice.
- Cultivate self-awareness, refined perception, and embodied understanding.
Program Structure
Years 1–2 — Foundations & ATM Teaching
- Explore the principles of sensory-motor learning and human development.
- Build awareness, curiosity, and self-regulation through movement.
- Learn observation and communication skills essential for teaching.
- Begin hands-on explorations that lead naturally into FI.
- By the end of Year 2: authorization to teach ATM classes (after 400 hours).
Years 3–4 — Functional Integration & Professional Practice
- Deepen your practice through FI — learning to communicate through touch and movement.
- Study functional relationships and individual movement patterns.
- Analyze and apply lessons from Moshe Feldenkrais’s original trainings.
- Conduct supervised FI lessons with real clients.
- Develop professional confidence, creativity, and ethical awareness.
Core Philosophy
- Learning, not curing: fostering awareness and potential rather than correction.
- Process over goal: focusing on how, not what.
- Curiosity and safety: creating space for exploration without judgment.
- Embodied growth: cultivating autonomy, resilience, and authenticity.
Upon successful completion, participants are certified Feldenkrais practitioners, qualified to teach Awareness Through Movement and practice Functional Integration professionally — empowering others to move, learn, and live with greater ease and vitality.
