Professional Feldenkrais® Training in Yekaterinburg (2025–2029)
Accredited by EuroTAB · Certified by IFF · Taught in Russian with professional translation
The first professional Feldenkrais® training program in Yekaterinburg offers a unique opportunity to enter a globally respected field of somatic education and movement-based therapy. Starting October 4, 2025, this four-year program is accredited by EuroTAB and aligned with the standards of the International Feldenkrais Federation (IFF), allowing you to practice as a certified Feldenkrais practitioner in Russia and internationally.
Led by educational director Isabella Turino, a senior trainer with decades of experience and a close collaborator of the late Ruthy Alon, the training is grounded in deep pedagogical vision, humanistic values, and creative exploration. Isabella has co-led seven Feldenkrais trainings in Florence and now brings her expertise to support the growing demand for high-quality professional training in Russia.
The training is designed to foster not just technical skills, but also confidence, independence, and creative thinking. Participants are guided to embody the Feldenkrais principles through structured self-exploration and gradually transition to hands-on work with others. Learning takes place in layered stages—rather than following a strictly linear syllabus—allowing each concept to deepen through repetition, variation, and integration from different angles.
Throughout the four years, students engage in:
-
Awareness Through Movement® lessons as a basis for experiential learning
-
Hands-on Functional Integration® practice under expert supervision
-
Live demonstrations, discussions, and video study (including Moshe Feldenkrais’ Amherst and Alexander Yanai materials)
-
Guided small-group teaching exercises with a focus on clarity, empathy, and creative communication
-
Observation of real sessions with people facing health challenges
-
Supervised practice with clients brought in from outside the training
From the very beginning, students are encouraged to develop their practical skills in real contexts, cultivating a sense of ownership, curiosity, and personal responsibility. A central goal is to support students in moving beyond imitation—toward authentic, embodied mastery of the method.
Special attention is given to developing manual sensitivity and somatic intelligence through Functional Integration. Starting with passive touch and progressing into dynamic, attuned movement dialogues, students learn to listen with their hands and respond to subtle cues. The training prioritizes direct sensory experience, building competence layer by layer and emphasizing respect for the uniqueness of each person.
By the end of the program, graduates will not only have a rich toolbox of techniques and a deep understanding of human movement—they will have grown personally and professionally, equipped to guide others with clarity, compassion, and creativity. Whether you’re a therapist, teacher, movement professional, or parent of a child with special needs, this training opens the door to a meaningful and rewarding career path.
The training is held in a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment, with clear boundaries and strong support. Program organization is overseen by Elizaveta Morozova, known for creating spaces where learning is not only structured, but also deeply nourishing and personally transformative.
